Our Camps

Northwest Suburban Council owns and operates two camps, Camp Lakota, located in Woodstock, Illinois, and Napowan Adventure Base, located in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

Camp Lakota is located in Woodstock IL, conveniently located off of US highway 14, and a few miles from the Wisconsin State Line. Approximately 300 acres in size, Lakota is used though out the year for many events, including council Cub Scout summer camp, training, klondikes, and troop/pack/crew campouts.

Whether looking for weekend camping, training for high adventure trips, or as a base for off-camp excursions, Lakota has something for all age groups from Tiger Cubs to Venturers. Camp Lakota is also available to schools, corporate groups, and other non-profit organizations for a location to provide training, team building activities, and experiential learning.

Come enjoy a day, a weekend, or as much time as you would like at Lakota! We have a wide variety of campsites, buildings / shelters, and facilities to suit the needs of any scouting unit or youth organization. Click Here to find out more and make your reservation today!

Napowan Adventure Base lies nestled on two lakes in the Pine Woods just seven miles from Wild Rose, Wisconsin. For over 60 years Napowan has provided real life learning and fun for scouts from all across the country.
